Tomáš Vorel st.

Tomáš Vorel (1957) is a screenwriter, director and actor. He transferred from the Czech Technical University in Prague to film studies at FAMU, graduating with the short films ING. (1985) and Chemical (Chemikál, 1986). He made his debut with the comedy Prague 5 (Pražská 5, 1988), then shot the musical Smoke (Kouř, 1990). At his own production company he then directed Stone Bridge (Kamenný moc, 1999), Out of the City (Cesta z města, 2000), Out of the City (Z města cesta, 2002), The Imp (Skřítek, 2005), The Can (Gympl, 2007), Catch the Billionaire (Ulovit miliardáře, 2009) and To the Woods (Cesta do lesa, 2012).
