Season 1 (2021) (S01)

anglais I wanted to try something on Disney+ that wasn’t the usual Marvel or Star Wars fare, and my eye landed on Only Murders in the Building. With Steve Martin, Martin Short, and, okay, Selena Gomez, I was intrigued. I didn’t hesitate long, and the result was an incredibly enjoyable detective series perfect for autumn evenings. It’s funny, entertaining, and inventive. The show is about a group of loners in a New York apartment building who start investigating a murder and turn it into a podcast. I loved it; it was a delightful way to relax, and I’m already looking forward to diving into the next season. ()

Season 2 (2022) (S02)

anglais Season 2 sticks pretty closely to the formula of the first, but there are some delightful surprises. The guest appearances by Tina Fey, Amy Schumer, and especially Paul Rudd are standout moments. On the downside, Cara Delevingne’s role feels entirely unnecessary, seemingly added just to showcase a relationship with Selena Gomez and include a token Hollywood LGBT subplot. This element, among others, felt a bit forced. Halfway through, I was leaning towards a three-star rating due to the lack of action, but the last couple of episodes really picked up the pace and delivered a fantastic finale. I'm looking forward to Season 3. ()

Season 3 (2023) (S03)

anglais I have to admit, there were moments in the third season where I wasn't really entertained. However, there were also parts so original they practically screamed for attention. By the end, it picked up a nice momentum, and I have to say, I'm genuinely looking forward to the next season. ()
