1950 Ta men zheng nian qing

Remembering 1950 is a documentary film about China’s Korean War veterans, known as the People‘s Volunteer Army. The film visited more than 30 veterans with an average age of 88 years old. 71 years ago, while still in their teenage years, they were equipped with weapons and went of to war. These veterans were in different units and departments. Among them are scouts, radio operators, drivers, gunners, nurses and many more. For the first time, these unforget able firsthand accounts being documented on camera.
What made those young people sign up for battle? How did they survive the war? What were their fears, their regrets? Through harrowing interviews with these veterans, we revisit - and experience - the brutality, horror and devastation of the Korean War. (Little Monster Entertainment)
