Toscana

This film is basically a cover version of Ridley Scott's A Good Year, with all the charm you’d expect. I almost gave it a fourth star for its pleasant vibe and beautiful setting, but it's surprisingly Scandinavian in its level of depression. The main character, a Danish chef, comes off more as a money-soaked snob than a likable guy you want to root for. (05/07/2022)
