(Gaumont)

Definitely the best film with Pierre Richard. Even though it was probably not easy to work with the drinking Depardieu, the two were a perfect match and Francis Veber was able to use their talents with his own inventiveness. There are many scenes in La Chevre that make me scream with laughter every time. The one with the gorilla (which a suspiciously large number of people do not find funny) is only one of them. ()
Pierre Richard and Gérard Depardieu are a proven comedic duo and it's amazing. An excellent story about clumsy Pierre, who has the task of finding a kidnapped girl who is just as clumsy as he is. Funny situations, two excellent actors, a very cool and entertaining film overall. Even though I didn't roll on the floor laughing, it's a great film. 8/10. ()
The clash of opposites of hardass-loser works flawlessly and the viewer is thoroughly entertained. Some scenes are weaker (the allergic reaction and the one with the gorilla), but the ending with the broken footbridge is absolutely brilliant. ()
The expressions of both protagonists alone could carry the entire film. Without a doubt the best of Pierre Richard, the best film by Francis Veber, and still my favorite French film. ()
