In modern day Tokyo, society lives in fear of Ghouls: mysterious creatures that look exactly like humans, yet hunger insatiably for their flesh. None of this matters to Ken Kaneki, a bookish and ordinary young man, until a dark and violent encounter turns him into the first ever Ghoul-human half-breed. Trapped between two worlds, Ken must survive the violent conflicts of warring Ghoul factions while attempting to learn more about Ghoul society, his newfound powers, and the fine line between man and monster. anglais To get to the goal, you should never rush, but here you sprint at a crazy speed straight towards it. Although I smoothly transitioned to the final series from the previous one, I didn't understand most of the first episode, what's going on with who. When similar feelings didn't let me go even after the fourth episode, my smile began to freeze a bit more. I'm not exaggerating, it happened to me more than once that positive, negative, and conflicting characters stood against each other (whether in combat or in conversation) and I tried (unfortunately often in vain) to figure out who is trying to outsmart whom. In short, the decision to cram a similar amount of plot into twelve episodes as previously into three seasons returned to the creators and repeatedly blew up in their faces. Fortunately, the second half brings a magnificent, touching, romantic, and although hurried, fortunately also functional conclusion with everything, where every surviving character gets at least a minute of fame. I am only satisfied with very squinted eyes, but after all the tormenting horrors, the optimistic tone of the last moments saves a lot. ()
