anglais I'm enjoying this series a lot, not only do the episodes go by quite briskly, but they're always spiced up with great music and can be very moving, plus the editing is very good. Of course, it's the same thing over and over again – interrogating, denying, lying, questioning, and revealing the truth, and you can always tell when they've finally got the right guy. Still, I enjoyed a lot of the episodes and the fact is that I've seen almost all of them. ()

anglais I'm flirting with the idea of watching the complete series. The guest stars are all interesting people, including Vicky Pratt, and the stories are often gripping little TV dramas. Kathryn Morris is, of course, supremely likable and completely different than she was in Xena. ()

anglais I don't know what it is, but there's just a certain aura of novelty and originality that emanates from this series that almost always gets me and makes me watch the screen as intently as a child watches a lollipop. All the episodes are practically following one basic template, something that drives me crazy with some shows, but here it feels like a plain and ready-made thing. And there's still room to deal with the main characters' personal problems. I really like the transitions between periods - how often the creators take care of the appearance of people, how they can create a great artificial period atmosphere with clothes and music, etc. It's just a classy series that has won my sympathy and so far I doubt it will ever stop entertaining me. P.S. I also love the great endings, accompanied only by cutscenes and music. ()
