I went to see this film blindly on my day off without finding out what it was about, especially because the duo of Philippe Lacheau and Tarek Boudali are a guarantee of quality and because French films are unavailable for download for months, so cinema is the only option. The result was exactly as expected, a full-fledged parody ripping off Indiana Jones, Taken, the Fast and Furious franchise, Baby Driver, Terminator and many other big films, which admittedly runs fast, is short and very mindless and is definitely not a must-see movie, but I just love these guys, because they get these B movies into the cinemas and you can see their love for movies and their sense of scene and in a way I actually like the cheap and easy style, because it proves that you just have to be persistent enough and do things with love and even this bunch of childish friends can proudly represent France on a global scale and destroy cinemas. The humour is great, some of the skits are brilliant and the acting is okay as always. But this group has done better stuff, so if you don’t mind waiting months for a home screening, you might want to wait. (16/07/2024)
