The opening scene was not very convincing, and the film drags on for the full ninety minutes like this, with Colin Krawchuk's mediator of interpersonal relationships in a cheap orange suit. The sudden disappearances and appearances of the malevolent character do not create an atmosphere on their own, and they might as well be playing shell games with their own little props (an interesting tidbit about the otherwise poor casting is that the actor playing the Jester essentially played himself). A bit of a clown show overall.
