anglais One of the best teen comedies! It beautifully exploits the American swagger with which our heroes enter every European backwater, excitedly chasing European girls and indulging in alcohol, which is allowed here from the age of 18. In this regard, what amused me the most was the short trip to Bratislava, which was depicted as a dump full of dilapidated blocks of flats, where you are the richest citizen of the country with less than two dollars – it didn't hurt. But really, the script as a whole is so wonderfully crazy and imaginative that I was happy to get carried away and take part in the greatest trip ever organized by the Americans in good old Europe. I'm just a bit sad now that I'm not a Manchester United supporter, their fan club is really cool! 80% ()

anglais Eurotrip should be taken with levity and exaggeration, because that's exactly how – I hope – the makers intended it. I saw the film for the first time during my high school years and now I came back to it after some years. Yes, there are some eye-rolling moments in all (European) directions, but if you see the film as a parody of the (a)typical attributes of a few select European countries, you will find this trip quite entertaining as well. On the other hand, it is not only a sort of mockery towards Europe, but also towards the limited intelligence of Americans, whose thinking rarely goes beyond the borders of their country. I can probably understand any rating for this film, but – with that in mind – it is unpretentious entertainment with ideal running time and more than one humorous cameo (Lucy Lawless or Miroslav Taborsky). anglais I'll start by saying that it was not quite wacky enough for my taste and I could have easily tolerated more bizarreness and a more massive load of politically incorrect humour, but otherwise I have no complaints! Eurotrip is exactly that great old-school comedy with perverse humour, nude scenes and sometimes totally wacky scenes, supported by a huge amount of footage from the Czech Republic, so besides great fun we can also tick the nostalgia box and just admire what a gem we participated in (:D). The humour is great, I laughed a lot and the highlight is the scene with the Nazi kid walking around the apartment, I really passed out laughing at that one!!! All in all, one of those very good "off switches" that I had more than a good time with and will definitely remember with pleasure. ()

anglais The screenplay is basically nothing but crap, but despite its many cringeworthy moments, I still find the film adorably silly and I did enjoy most of the funny scenes. Plus, the film accurately portrays how Americans see Europe. Even if I lived in Bratislava, there's no way I could get offended. Especially since it was obviously shot in Košice (at least at first glance). ()
