This really doesn't have anything to captivate with. It's just a retread of some of the scenes from the first film, with a story that tries to put them together in a slightly different way. The flashbacks are terrible, the effects are terrible, the acting is standard, but I wasn't really blown away by the otherwise quite nice sex scene. The villain is fine, but there's just nothing here to really justify a sequel. ()
Christopher Lambert needed to pay the rent one year in advance again. If I knew what would come of it, I'd pay it for him out of my own pocket. ()
The Sorcerer is definitely not one of Highlander's worst films. Deborah Kara Unger and Mario Van Peebles were never able to act decently, but knowing the imbalance of the entire film series, it's not that bad of an experience. As usual, the flashbacks are one of the better aspects. ()
