Yossi & Jagger deals with an interesting topic, but as a whole it is too flat and everything is taken with a fair amount of distance. I really disliked the cinematography at times, and even though the film is around an hour long, there were moments I was bored. In short, my first encounter with Israeli production was mediocre, which is not to say that I will never seek out another film from that country.
