Most criminals answer to the law. The world's most savage executioner must answer to Bronson. This is written on the poster, though given the brutal nature of the slogan, another Chuck would have fit better than the last word. At least halfway through, you might wish for this, as Bronson only conspicuously surveys the scene and plays the nice uncle. But things start to heat up after a visit to a seedy bar. The fixation on hoses! First, he throttles one person with it, then uses it to drag another to the execution site, and finally hangs someone from a hotel balcony with it! Then it's just a matter of a shotgun and the brutal end of a Mengele-like successor, who paid the price for not torturing all of Guatemala. It's a shame that a smarter script was hindered more by exploitation than by anything else. (18/06/2024)
