anglais Some gags are hilarious (1 minute later), some completely off. On his second attempt, Steve Carell is much more bearable, most of the actors are more likable (Seth Rogen, Elizabeth Banks, and Jane Lynch), and the plot as a whole is more pleasant. Maybe it's the comparisons with Knocked Up or Superbad that adds to the final estimation, but when weird little films surprisingly become your personal favorites, I appreciate them even more. ()

anglais Because of the (as always) brilliant Steve Carell and the (utterly) charming Catherine Keener, I'm able to forgive this film for being so dirty. I laughed, I had fun, I thanked the filmmakers for restraining themselves (except for two short scenes with bodily fluids) in what they show the viewer... And when the film ended, I almost couldn't believe it lasted over two hours. ()

anglais A typical American comedy with a lot of profanity about one atypical man, which neither surprises nor offends, and which personally startled me with the running time and the strange ending. In short, an average film with a few funny moments and a nice cast. ()
