anglais 34 known and lesser-known but respected directors were approached to create three-minute films about their perception of cinema and film. It's an interesting collection, but apart from the concept, there's nothing that truly excites me about it. Lars von Trier was intriguing, as was Cronenberg; Lynch didn't surprise, while the others simply didn't charm me. There's nostalgia in almost all of them, but it's not very relatable for the viewer. The film, however, manages quite well to show that cinema is actually a magic that blends from a vast array of elements. ()
