This certainly isn't a horror film, and labeling it as such is nonsense. It wasn't filmed to be something frightening; instead, it was made to be entertaining. This is simply a comedy with science fiction elements, which are not groundbreaking but entertaining. That's good enough for me. It's quite fun, even though it has a simple plot. Despite the film's naivety, the creators made an effort with special effects that are definitely more than just average. It’s good for its time, and it still holds up well even today.
