En pleine nuit, deux chômeurs tuent un homme par accident. A ses côtés, 2 millions d'euros. Que faire ? Appeler la police ou profiter de l'occasion ? Le lendemain, à proximité, la police découvre le corps d'une fillette. Et si l'argent était une rançon? L'assassin a-t-il vu les chauffards ? Le soir même, une autre enfant est kidnappée... Avec le lieutenant Moreno, un collègue très prévenant, Lucie participe à l'enquête. Et curieusement, on a vite le sentiment qu'elle n'est pas là par hasard... (BAC Films)

Mélanie Laurent was fantastic, but she found herself in a crime thriller that got ridiculously confusing, especially in the second half. The beginning had a great setup and really pulled me in, with an epic and mysterious vibe. But as it went on, it lost steam, and by the end, it definitely wasn’t the French Se7en it could’ve been. Still, it was enjoyable, mainly thanks to Mélanie. She’s the one thing this film really has going for it.
