Towards the end it gets a little long (the partisan part is extremely drawn out) with a poorly acting lead actor, but also containing a number of impressive scenes (a rabbi who doesn't want to be a rabbi) and features great sets. Three and a bit. ()
It is not a bad view of Slovakia during and after the Second World War, there are definitely good scenes here that are emotionally extremely strong, but as the movie continued, I somehow started to not care about what happens to the main characters. Clearly, the first and middle part are better than the last one. ()
