Wow, this is a seriously niche film, and if you don’t buy into its shadowy vibe in the first ten minutes, it’s going to drive you nuts. For me, it didn’t annoy—I was actually intrigued by how different it was from what I expected. It’s surprisingly original, and the cast really pulls their weight. Asia Argento shines by the end, and Christopher Walken and Willem Dafoe are right there with her. As far as sci-fi goes, this one’s an interesting surprise.
