anglais The atmosphere! Yet not much actually happens. People are sitting down to dinner, the wind is blowing outside and you know something is wrong. There's no need to make frantic cuts or add unnecessary sound effects, although the film doesn't completely avoid them either. When there is calm, it is the most terrifying thing that can happen. What's next? It is just amazing how unsettling it is. And then there's the scene in the woods... Black and white simply suits the film, especially when it is used effectively. Unfortunately, narratively, the film quickly loses pace, but this is balanced only by good acting performances and occasionally returning to a great atmosphere. ()
