Le destin croisé de 3 jeunes berlinois issus de l'immigration qui tentent de concilier pratique de la religion musulmane et mode de vie occidental. (Memento Films Distribution)
Critiques (1)
I was quite disappointed with Shahada, which is really unfortunate considering such a solid premise. Besides the issue of religion, the film bites into other thorny issues such as unwanted pregnancies and sexual minorities, but I felt that it sticks too much on the surface and the whole story, which was composed of more or less intertwined short stories, seemed shallow and emotionless. Besides, I didn't find any of the supporting characters likeable, and even though the film is only ninety minutes long, it dragged a bit. Too bad! Marginally, I must at least appreciate the opening credits, which had a nice visual design. ()
