anglais I like this stuff. Male and female models, high school, parties, horror movie references, a scumbag with a razor, and no shortage of decent gore. The downside is the poor quality of the Scream mask, but it's made up for by his voice and wisecracks. The final trailer promises a decent horror rom. Episode 3 is the best so far. It's shaping up great, I'm enjoying Nerd and Brooke the most oddly enough. 80%. ()

anglais I quite like the Scream films within its genre (especially the first and fourth ones) and I don't like horror movies, so I couldn't pass up the series version about a masked killer who plagues a small town and the people in it who have secrets from the past. Right off the bat, there are a few major differences that affected my final rating of the entire first season. Probably the biggest stumbling block was the mostly unlikeable cast, their oddball performances, and actually the somewhat low frequency of the killer's appearances and his looks. The creators managed to keep me in suspense until almost the very end before I suspected who the actual perpetrator was, which is a big plus. The few scenes in which the killer chased his victims also worked out well. All in all, an average series with a catchy (and borrowed) theme that gets noticeably tripped up by both the cast and the sort of too "high-school-teen-problems" look. ()
