Two sisters who don't exactly live in a loving family. The mother is an alcoholic and troubled, and her daughters take care of her more than she does of them. They don't have a father, and if they do, he's some jerk with whom the mother is only briefly involved. The girls want to be together and they want a better world for themselves. Perhaps the one they dreamed of having. And so they decide to act. There are interesting moments in the film mainly between the sisters, but otherwise, there are very clichéd scenes that lead slowly to the finale, which could lull you to sleep. The emotions are there, but they are hidden. It's too much like Heavenly Creatures, which happens to be more imaginative and powerful. ()
