Charlotte Gainsbourg is a great actress, but I've said before that I don't like historical films. It was very evident in this case as well. It was incredibly lengthy, and incredibly uninteresting unless she was on set, and there was absolutely nothing else of interest. Shallow in plot with an attempt to convey something, but an effort that misses the mark. ()
