An interesting portrait of the evolution of surrealist cinema, which contains all of the typical features (repetition, decomposed narrative, the use of non-diegetic sound) and, at the same time, thematically attacks the church and other social institutions. In addition, the film approaches self-reflection in an original way – the title itself contains a reference to the nature of the film as an imitation of reality.
