anglais The sound/music component is the first thing that grabs you. In combination with the visuals, this cacophonous symphony is absolutely incredible and adds urgency to this film, which seeks to show the power of the group as well as the power of the individual. There is a contrast here that is in line with Marxist-Leninist philosophy, and it is presented incredibly. The industrial music of the first half of the 20th century is truly captivating and chilling in this regard. I haven't seen such harmony between music and film in a long time, not to mention the great montages that Eisenstein incorporated into his film. ()
