Est de la France, 1916. La guerre des tranchées fait rage. Au cours d’un assaut sur les lignes allemandes, la quasi-totalité d’un bataillon allié est décimée. Seuls en réchappent trois soldats, qui se retrouvent embourbés dans le no man’s land. Sous les feux ennemis, ils doivent choisir : continuer l’attaque vers la tranchée adverse ou se replier. (Condor)

A war drama that didn't sit well with me. Some moments are powerful, but they happen off the battlefield. Generally speaking, the war scenes from the battlefield here are not something that particularly stands out in any significant way. As a drama, it works much better; it's almost regrettable that it's fragmented by those battle scenes. In the genre, it's generally more on the weaker side of average.
