The Penny Dreadful Picture Show ultimately has perhaps the best general story, which is visually interesting and quite enjoyable to watch. It's nothing that dazzles, but it does stand out a bit compared to the rest. It's a shame because it's evident that three creators came together, and while they have ideas, they're not ideas that are original or innovative in any way.
