(Mediawan)

Another story from the war where it's not just about the battles, but also about human lives. I mean that there are some relationships between the individual fighters being addressed here. It's just another variation of "Pearl Harbor" or "The Blue World", and with all their negatives. Well, it's true that there aren't that many positives, although it must be mentioned that the visuals are quite nicely adapted to the time and conflict - rather gray colors. On the other hand, was it just me, or were most of the airplanes digital? Boring in terms of the story, as well as action. Considering that I had seen action-packed (in terms of action and realism) "To Life and to Death" the day before, "Angel of the Skies" simply cannot succeed. And I'm still being lenient towards the actors. ()
