The slow pace of the previous episodes was replaced by intense action and the transformation of Lester from a timid nobody into a cold, calculating manipulator. As if that wasn't enough, Lorne Malvo set up an ingenious distraction and had an entertaining encounter with the two men from Fargo. This episode was a thrill from start to finish.
