On the last day of school at Roosevelt High the senior's traditional day of pranks has pushed the school to breaking point. When history teacher Mr. Strickland (Ice Cube) finally snaps and violently retaliates against his own pupils he and mild-mannered English teacher Mr. Campbell (Charlie Day) are both called to see Principal Tyler (Dean Norris), where Campbell manages to get Strickland fired. Raging at his colleague's actions, Strickland challenges Campbell to an old-fashioned fist fight outside the school at the end of the day. Fearful of what will happen, Campbell searches all avenues for a way out of the fight but it seems he may just have to go through with it after all. (Warner Bros. Home Entertainment)

anglais A really cool American comedy with lots of profanity. And I liked that the most. The movie is very sincere and enjoyable and that is thanks to its humor. What else do you want from an American comedy? ()

anglais An enjoyable comedy from a school setting, with a great Ice Cube. They don't make many school comedies anymore, so I'm always happy for something like this where I'm reminded of the years of my life five years ago. It's funny, the pacing is brisk, and even though it doesn't offer anything innovative I didn't mind. 70% ()

anglais Another American comedy that tries to rely on characters and absurdities. Absurdities are fine, but the film takes itself too seriously for them to work there. The characters are boring, mostly because the title characters are so transparent at first glance that you get bored just looking at them. No, it's just not funny at all. ()
