The special effects are absolutely excellent, and some scenes truly captivate. It's evident that the filmmakers had to strive at times to make the result good in certain scenes despite having a low budget, but at other times, the creators truly shine and it just looks excellent. The fact that there's always something happening and it's not just about the monster adds to the film. The excellent sound, enhanced by the new stereo technology, underscores the fact that this film is truly well-crafted, both technically and in terms of its story. A wonderful B-movie.
