War films are quite rare these days, and this is even more true in the world of TV series, as this genre really doesn't appear much in that space. I was thrilled that someone finally took the plunge to make a series on this topic. From the very first minutes, I could tell that seasoned pros were behind the camera, knowing exactly what to do. The camera work is precise, especially during the action scenes. However, there’s a slight drawback here, as there’s not much action except for a few standout moments (though I have to admit, those moments are worth the wait). The cast was mostly unfamiliar to me, so I didn’t know what to expect. But these fresh faces proved they could act. The best performance probably came from Walton Goggins, who’s the most well-known of the cast and gave an excellent portrayal of a former SEAL trying to regain his lost honor. As I mentioned a few lines earlier, I would have liked to see more time devoted to shootouts and less to the soldiers’ everyday lives. The final scene really surprised me, so we’ll see what the creators have in store for us next. I give it 78%. (17/03/2017)
