,,Friends, I spent almost two years of my life investigating the history around the resurrection of Jesus.... And in the light of the avalanche of evidence that points so powerfully toward the truth of Christianity I realize that it would take more faith to maintain my atheism than to become a Christian." - Lee Strobel at Passion City Church, 2018. Well, this is another pile of crap. Even though it's based on truth, I can't help but feel that a film like this is dangerous. It's religious propaganda that - what's worse - has a very pleasant, professional appearance. Clearly, the church has money. It could have been an interesting story, but it isn't, and it's full of fanatical beliefs. ()
I was hoping for some philosophical debates and a touch of the supernatural. What I got was a Christian film about a journalist finding his way to God. ()
