I’m bowing down before Netflix as the king of intimate sci-fi films of today. If we can still call Extinction intimate, that is. Sometimes I think that such movies would deserve a cinema release, as at times, this particular movie reminded me of War of the Worlds. The action, the tension, everything. Plus a great Michael Peña, who suffers from a nasty shock in the film, together with the audience, and it then keeps getting better and better. A great flick, I’d like to see more films like this. ()
