Pet Sematary II isn't that bad of a movie. There are great, scary scenes here, especially with the dog coming to life, but also with the sheriff, yet the oppressive atmosphere that gripped me throughout the first film is simply missing. You simply know what's going to happen, and the film doesn't try to be surprising in any way. There are occasional quite gory scenes, or at least hints of gore. It still suits the film today.
