A gritty story, but I can’t help feeling like France, along with Netflix, is one of the few really pushing these kinds of topics lately. Makes you wonder why. France has always been Europe’s cultural melting pot, and their films keep proving it. But with so many coming out of Netflix, it’s hard to form a real connection with any of them.
