Le seul problème avec ce film, c’est que son style et ses prémisses nous font penser à I Origins, tourné quatre années auparavant. Et pas qu'un peu ! C’est comme si on avait inséré un thème et des personnages différents dans une même structure scénaristique. À part ça, Clara est un film introspectif globalement plaisant et pépère qui se laisse regarder et se montre techniquement impeccable.J'ai l'impression qu’il trouvera rapidement un public enthousiaste. Clara could be compared to the civilian sci-fi films Another Earth and I Origins by Mike Cahill. In many aspects, these films are similar, except that Clara uses sci-fi elements only minimally and rather focuses on the emotional level, making it primarily a romantic drama that may push the boundaries at times. I enjoyed the first half more, in the second half it lost a bit of its momentum and the subsequent finale didn't have the desired effect on me. It may not be as good as Mike Cahill's aforementioned films, but it's definitely worth watching.
