Le seul problème avec ce film, c’est que son style et ses prémisses nous font penser à I Origins, tourné quatre années auparavant. Et pas qu'un peu ! C’est comme si on avait inséré un thème et des personnages différents dans une même structure scénaristique. À part ça, Clara est un film introspectif globalement plaisant et pépère qui se laisse regarder et se montre techniquement impeccable.J'ai l'impression qu’il trouvera rapidement un public enthousiaste. Clara can be compared to Mike Cahill's indie sci-fi films like Another Earth and I, Origins. They share a lot of similarities, but Clara uses sci-fi elements sparingly, focusing more on the emotional aspects. This makes it primarily a romantic drama that sometimes feels a bit heavy-handed. I enjoyed the first half a lot more; the second half lost some of its momentum, and the finale didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It’s not as good as Cahill’s films, but it’s still worth watching.
