I've never seen a film or TV episode about the first day of the Normandy invasion shot with such high quality and realism. While the creators focused on small units and individuals, allowing for more attention to detail, I was absolutely thrilled with the result. The portrayal of German cannons in a cluster left me scratching my head. Not to mention the soldier's face that looked like it was torn apart by grenade shrapnel after machine gun fire. Despite these flaws in the content, it was still a great episode. ()
