Political comedies are always either-or. Either the entire situation’s absurdity makes you roll around on the floor laughing, like in the show Yes, Minister, or you’re disappointed, because the topic had so much more to give. My Internship in Canada is lucky to be filmed in a human way and with a realistic accuracy, just as if you were enjoying the internship yourself when you’re actually sitting on the sofa, watching TV. On the other hand, it could have been more fun. ()
