anglais Such a great concept, but the execution feels so painfully average. I appreciate the nods to "Kingdom Come," though Mythic Quest is more of a "World of Warcraft" knockoff. Sadly, aside from those references and the standout fifth episode, there’s not much I took away from the first season—and honestly, I’m not feeling very motivated to dive into the second. That fifth episode, by the way, feels completely disconnected from the rest of the show, as it focuses on the rise and fall of a game studio with Jake Johnson and Cristin Milioti. And that might be the problem. Beyond those two, I couldn’t find a single character in the main series who was remotely interesting or funny. The humor is another issue—it’s just not there. The show has the potential to be hilarious, but it misses the mark. Sure, poking fun at a 12-year-old YouTuber is fine, but we’ve seen that joke a million times. I think it needed to push the boundaries a bit more to really leave an impact. The series feels too restrained, playing it way too safe. Even the narcissistic boss can’t carry the whole thing. Unfortunately, it falls flat. ()
