anglais The Mosquito Coast is a story I’m familiar with — I've seen the original film with Harrison Ford — so when I heard about the trend of turning classic films into drawn-out series, I wasn’t immediately put off. In fact, I was curious to see how Apple TV would handle it. The result, however, left me with mixed feelings. On the one hand, the series is packed with tension you could cut with a knife. But the entire premise revolves around a family on the run from the government, led by an eco-obsessed dad, without ever really explaining why. That lingering "why" echoes throughout the series — what starts as intriguing quickly becomes frustrating as you reach the end, feeling like you’ve wasted your time. The eco-friendly maniac at the center is insufferably self-centered, and his family generates about as much sympathy as a loose screw in a lawnmower. ()
