Normally, the Poles do not make mistakes, but I did not enjoy it at all here. The subject, which in its simplicity is told incredibly complicated. No atmosphere, uninteresting characters, overall as if the Poles did not even shoot it. What they are normally so great at, failed here. Uninteresting teen detective story with a nineties feeling, which tells the story in two time frames, where one is the teen oldschool, which literally bores and the other in the present, which is confused and absolutely uninteresting for a change. I’m rather fond of Polish cinema, so I was looking forward to the series, but I had no idea what I was in for. The creators were switching between the two time-planes (it's really trendy now) perhaps too often, making me confused at times, and most of the characters behaved in a very odd way. Plus, I think an excessive number of issues was brought up including murder, missing persons, rape, anti-Semitism, extortion, embezzlement, etc., etc. Based on this list, you’d expect a breathtaking pace, but the opposite was true. The story progressed at the speed of an injured snail doused in honey and condensed milk, so the two-star rating is as high as it gets. ()
