Years ago, I visited a brewery in Tupadly and found out that the Germans had filmed a Netflix series there, set in the brewing world. Now we can finally watch it ourselves. Unfortunately, it's not worth the hype. From the title, I expected some nice Czech locations or a few good brewing scenes, but there was none of that. The theme is promising, and the historical setting is nice, but the script is dull and uninspired. The actors behave like characters in a cheap romance novel or an old soap opera. Just plain silly. For anyone passionate about brewing, this series is a letdown.
