anglais A simpler, more straightforward, yet still attractive fairy tale. Lenka Jelínková and Pavel Řezníček are eye candy and the exteriors are ideally exotic. And if you like Dulava in a double role, you can also get excited about Menzel in a smaller role. ()

anglais Until the end credits, I didn't know what I was actually watching. I started watching a fairy tale and yet the whole time the film seemed like a bad amateur movie. Jaromír Dulava clumsily tried to convince me that it was his first role, and in the end I felt like a viewer who watches a detective story and pieces together the clues but doesn't uncover the culprit because part of the plot is happening somewhere else. I only gave it a star because it's Christmas Eve, so the creators of this farce can take it as a gift. ()

anglais I'm glad there's also a princess Verunka, but otherwise, unfortunately, it's a fairy tale that's a bit strange. It's somewhat uninspired, and even though it tries to add some uniqueness, it doesn't quite deliver what you'd expect. The main heartthrob protagonist isn’t particularly great, and the story doesn't focus much on the princess. That’s too bad because she's pretty. Dulava in a double role can't save it. Disappointment is what will linger with you after watching this fairy tale. Some things one should see as a child; unfortunately, I never had the chance to experience this fairy tale earlier, which might have influenced me differently. ()
