The main reason I wanted to watch The Racer was its focus on cycling and the Tour de France. The script doesn't hold back, diving straight into the topic I expected — doping. What I didn’t realize was that Karel Roden and Iain Glen play key supporting roles, which elevates the entire film. With their performances, it feels like everything the movie touches turns to gold. Honestly, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better cycling film out there.
