Nature's Playmates is just another film attempting to promote the philosophy of naturism by showcasing nude female bodies, with minimal representation of men, and trying to convey that it's actually okay like this. It's a pretty heavily hypocritical film, which bothers me. From Herschell, I would simply expect more naturalism after his gore films, but even he was bound by the regulations of his time and feared crossing the line of depicting vaginas and penises.
