Portrait d'une famille japonaise: le père est un journaliste raté dont les employeurs ne veulent plus et qui couche avec sa fille prostituée. La mère, elle, vend de temps en temps son corps afin de payer l'héroïne qui lui permet d'oublier que son fils la frappe. Quant à celui-ci, il se fait régulièrement humilier et tabasser par ses camarades de classe. Le père décide de réaliser un documentaire sur son fils. Arrive alors un inconnu qui va bouleverser cette vie de famille. (texte officiel du distributeur)

How one Japanese family found happiness together, or proof that even a necrophiliac doesn't have it easy in life. Fortunately, all this is done with exaggeration and, most importantly, a large dose of humour (black, of course), otherwise, it wouldn’t have worked for a second.

Visitor Q has a basic storyline, and it's clear that the characters develop in certain ways, but in reality, it's just a series of scenes from the life of this family. We watch a father watching his son being beaten, a mother squeezing her nipples so that milk squirts out, and a father having sex with a dead man and it doesn't work. I see the humor and the effort in it, but this is just too bizarre for me and ultimately about nothing.
