Interesting sci-fi films are also being created in the realm of short films. The 3rd Letter is one of them. It's not so much about the overall concept or idea, but primarily about the scene in the bathroom - the conversation with the son over the phone. It's brilliantly acted and filmed. The very tense atmosphere elevates the film slightly above the world it portrays.
